Just 30 minutes ago here in Shanghai, in the Latvia Expo pavilion, the Aerodium vertical wind tunnel, designed in Latvia, has been started and tested. The testing of the tunnel was successful and after some days the official opening of Latvia pavilion will take place.
Ivars Beitāns, Aerodium Chair of the Board: “This day was the reason for living and working for Latvia. The testing of the tunnel was successful. In the testing regime Latvia pavilion will receive its first visitors already on May 23. The official opening of Latvia pavilion will take place on May 26, with the participation of our Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis.
