On of the most popular television channels in the world Discovery Channel visited the Latvia pavilion at the World EXPO, Shanghai, and filmed a story about the Technology of Happiness, which was created in Latvia.

Television channel Discovery Channel broadcasts to more than 400 million households in more than 170 countries.

The Latvia pavilion, which has become very popular among the other countries at the World EXPO, is of increasingly great interest to foreign mass media. On July 18, 2010, Discovery Channel filmed a story about the Technology of Happiness, which was created in Latvia by the AERODIUM company.

Ivars Beitāns, Chair of the Board of AERODIUM: ‘The interest of foreign mass media is a clear proof that the Latvia pavilion represents the country very successfully at the World EXPO, and the name of Latvia can be heard far and near, thus affirming the special meaning of the Technology of Happiness in the popularization of the Latvia pavilion and Latvian entrepreneurs’ accomplishments. I am glad, that we have fascinated so many people with our concept. It means that there is a potential in Latvia, which will be seen by the world in the future. And the sooner we will bravely start to go into the world with our ideas, the sooner we will build prosperity for Latvia.’

The Latvia Pavilion at World EXPO attracts 10 000 visitors each day. They watch special performances, film and take pictures of the Latvia pavilion, thus spreading information about Latvia in social networks and among their friends and acquaintances.
